| United for Local Television (“ULTV”) is a coalition of groups and campaigners who together lobby the government to recognise local TV as a public service. ULTV argues that all citizens should have access to local TV, no matter where they live, without having to subscribe to pay-TV or broadband. ULTV proposes that the government reserve capacity for local TV services on the most popular television platform in the UK today – digital terrestrial television (commonly known as “Freeview”)*.
*The Freeview brand is owned by DTV Services Limited |
