United for Local Television (ULTV), the industry association for local TV in the United Kingdom (“UK”), has welcomed the government’s proposals for a ‘bottom up’ approach to the development of local TV.
ULTV spokesperson, Jaqui Devereux, said:
“The government’s new proposals for a ‘bottom’ up licensing regime are broadly supported by ULTV members and we believe will enable a successful local TV sector to emerge across the UK.” |
